G-8 discusses system to follow-up on aid pledges (AP)

AP - An aid group founded by U2 frontman Bono calculates that the Group of Eight top industrialized nations has delivered only $3 billion of the additional $25 billion promised for Africa for everything from AIDS drugs to training peacekeepers.

A lot of new people in bodybuilding get sucked up in the supplements game. They think they need all these supplements to be successful, so they waste all their money buying every new product that comes out. The fact is that none of these are quick fixes. All the work will be done in the gym and your diet; supplements are here to add a little help where gym and diet aren't as effective.

Whey protein or protein shakes are very good supplement to have. They can be found just about calcium hmb benefits where and they're relatively cheap. The point of whey protein is to spike protein synthesis, which puts your body in the position to build muscle tissue. Basically after you workout, your muscles are craving nutrition. Regular protein takes time to digest and more time to raise your protein synthesis. Whey acts like sugar to insulin, it causes your protein synthesis to spike (and later crash). The point of this supplement is to quickly get protein to your muscles after a workout. There really isn't any point of taking this at any other time. Whey isn't a good meal replacement.

Creatine is an interesting product that is perfectly natural and very good at aiding you in gym. Essentially all that creatine does is allow your muscle cells to absorb more water. This simple leads to more stamina. Which in bodybuilding terms, means you can push out a few more reps during an exercise.

These two are the essential bodybuilding supplements you should use. There really isn't a point in using others. There are no shortcuts in bodybuilding and no supplement will make it easier.
